Malaysia’s SAT centres are few and scattered. The eight or nine centres College Board listed for the remaining 2026 sittings run from Kuala Lumpur and Subang Jaya to Penang, Johor, Negeri Sembilan and Selangor’s Telok Panglima Garang, so the nearest one may be a drive away.
Most of our Malaysian students study at international schools following IGCSE and A-Levels, the IB Diploma or an American programme. A smaller group are in pre-university courses and want the US as an option alongside UK and Australian universities.
Lessons are live and online on Malaysia time. Every student begins with a timed Bluebook diagnostic, and we plan backwards from the centre and date they choose.
You sit a full diagnostic, and we turn the results into a target score and a personal roadmap.
Students in Malaysia build skills topic by topic, then practise them under time, with feedback after each set.
Full-length simulations close the course, each followed by a detailed review of mistakes and pacing.
College Board deadlines are fixed to midnight in New York. In Malaysia that falls around late morning or midday the next day, as the table shows.

Starting now? Aim for March 2027. Most students in Malaysia prepare for 8 to 12 weeks, so the 6 March 2027 sitting is the realistic first target if you begin in December or early January, with 1 May and 5 June as retake options. The SAT costs US$111 for a Malaysian test taker ($68 plus a $43 international fee; College Board). If the nearest centre is in another state, plan the journey: the test starts on a Saturday morning.

Direct US entry: students from international schools apply to US universities as first-year applicants. A strong SAT gives admissions officers a common measure beside IGCSE, A-Level or IB grades.
Scholarships: government-linked scholarships for overseas study, such as those from JPA and MARA, set their own academic criteria and approved destinations. Check the current rules of the scholarship you are applying to before assuming an SAT score is or is not needed.

For A-Level and IB students, December or March of the first pre-university year works well, avoiding the May–June exam season.
Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin around 8 February, depending on the moon sighting in Malaysia, so the 6 March sitting falls in its last days, with Hari Raya Aidilfitri soon after. Many families pick December or May instead.
Book the centre early if you live outside the Klang Valley: with one centre in Penang and a few in Johor, local seats are limited.
