SAT tutoring in Saudi Arabia

The SAT in Saudi Arabia: two reasons students take it

Most of our students in Saudi Arabia take the SAT for one of two reasons. Some are applying to universities in the United States. Others are international school graduates using the SAT as a route into a Saudi university that accepts it, where the usual Qudurat and Tahsili tests are built around the national curriculum.

Both groups need a high score, but they need it on different timelines. A US applicant plans around autumn application deadlines. A student using a Saudi SAT track has to have the score in hand before that university’s application window opens.

We teach online on Saudi time, with sessions after the school day and at the Friday–Saturday weekend. Every student begins with a timed Bluebook diagnostic so the target and the timeline are set from real data.

How it works

Three steps from diagnostic to test day.

Step 1

Diagnostic & roadmap

Your first step in Saudi Arabia is a timed diagnostic test; from it we set a target and map the weeks ahead.

Step 2

Structured practice

Your Saudi Arabia programme works through Reading and Writing and Math in order, adding pacing strategy and weekly practice tasks.

Step 3

Simulate & optimize

The final stage is full-length mocks in Bluebook format, error review and fine-tuning your timing.

Starting now? Aim for March 2027. Most students in Saudi Arabia prepare for 8 to 12 weeks, so the 6 March 2027 sitting is the realistic first target if you begin in December or early January, with 1 May and 5 June as retake options. Tell us your level and target date and we will send a plan on WhatsApp.

US universities and Saudi SAT tracks

KFUPM SAT track: King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals runs an SAT admission track for Saudi and international school graduates. It asks for a minimum SAT score of 1350, with no Qudurat or Tahsili required, plus the university’s own mathematics test and possibly an interview. Registration for the 2027 track is listed as 1–11 February 2027, and meeting the minimum does not guarantee a place (KFUPM SAT track).

Timing for that window: to have a score before 11 February 2027, the only remaining sitting is 5 December 2026. The March 2027 sitting comes after the window closes, so it suits US applications rather than this track.

US universities: a strong SAT helps an international school applicant stand out in a holistic review and can support merit scholarship applications. See good SAT scores for US universities.

A Saudi timeline

Planning the year around Ramadan and school exams

Ramadan 2027 is expected to begin around 8 February, subject to moon sighting, so the 6 March 2027 sitting falls in its final days. Many of our Saudi students choose December instead, or plan a lighter review phase during the fasting month and test in May.

For KFUPM applicants, we work backwards from February: diagnostic in September, full content coverage in October, and timed mocks before the November or December sitting, with one sitting held in reserve as a retake.

For US applicants in Grade 11, a first attempt in December or March and a retake in the autumn of Grade 12 is the most common pattern. We also check each university’s test policy, because some are test-optional and others now require scores again.

FAQ

SAT in Saudi Arabia: common questions.

The KFUPM SAT admission track asks for a minimum of 1350, with no Qudurat or Tahsili required. Applicants also take the university’s mathematics test and may be interviewed. The minimum does not guarantee admission, so check the current rules on the KFUPM admissions site.
The 2027 SAT track registration is listed as 1–11 February 2027. The last sitting that reports before then is 5 December 2026 (scores due 18 December); March 2027 is too late for that window, so plan the 2028 track or US applications around the 2027 dates.
College Board listed 88 centres for the 5 December 2026 sitting, mostly in Riyadh and Jeddah, with others in Al Khobar, Dammam, Madinah, Taif and Yanbu.
US$111 ($68 registration plus a $43 international fee). A late registration adds $38.
Deadlines close at 11:59 p.m. US Eastern time. In Saudi time that is the next morning: for the 6 March 2027 sitting, 7:59 a.m. on Saturday 20 February.
