About Velocity Tuition Academy

What We Do

We provide 1-on-1 online tutoring for students sitting Cambridge and Edexcel IGCSE, A-Levels, the IB Diploma and IB MYP, and the Digital SAT. Every tutor is matched to the student's exact exam board — because the syllabus, paper structure, mark-scheme language and grade boundaries genuinely differ between boards, and that specificity is the whole preparation.

Our Approach

• Diagnostic first. Every student begins with a free diagnostic session that assesses their current level and identifies the specific gaps.
• Board-specific tutors. We match a specialist who knows the student's board and subject in depth, not a generalist.
• Mark-scheme technique. Sessions focus on how marks are actually awarded — command words, working, and exam technique — not just content review.
• Monthly progress reports. Parents receive regular, honest updates on where their child stands and what comes next.

Who We Serve

We work with students at international and British-curriculum schools across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Malaysia, Singapore, Egypt and the UK, as well as homeschoolers and private candidates. All sessions are fully online and scheduled around each family's time zone and school calendar.

Who Founded Velocity

Velocity Tuition Academy was founded by Ahmed Raees, who leads a team of specialist Cambridge CAIE, Edexcel, IB and Digital SAT tutors. Our blog guides are written and reviewed under his direction to keep them accurate, practical and up to date with the latest exam-board information.
